LOS ANGELES - AstroBug -- A Los Angeles family is desperately trying to save the life of their 8-month-old Doberman Pinscher puppy. His name is Buster Brown and his playful and friendly attitude is capturing the hearts of dog lovers everywhere.

After swallowing a sock, Buster Brown is in need of emergency surgery. The sock has caused a blockage in the large intestines and has caused the young dog to become septic. He is currently on life support at the Access Animal Hospital in Culver City, CA. If removed from the their care, he would not survive more than a few minutes. Without surgery, Buster Brown will not survive.
