PALM DESERT, Calif. - AstroBug -- Ralph Lauren at The Shops on El Paseo is bringing style and compassion together in its first-ever animal charity partnership, teaming up with German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County (GSROC). A percentage of store sales from Thursday, February 5 through Saturday, February 7 will benefit the organization's lifesaving work – highlighted by an exclusive shopping event Thursday evening (https://www.gsroc.org/event/vip-shopping-event/).

The Thursday night event invites the community to shop for a cause while supporting second chances for injured, abandoned and neglected dogs throughout Southern California and the Coachella Valley. Guests will enjoy hors d'oeuvres from Porta Via, champagne and exciting giveaways.

A sketch artist will create frameable pet portraits from guest-provided photos throughout the evening, while Kira, GSROC's beloved K-9 Ambassador, will greet attendees in person. For those considering adoption, counselors will be available to discuss potential matches with dogs currently available, showcased on digital displays at the event.

"It's an opportunity for guests to enjoy a beautiful evening while supporting rescue dogs who might otherwise miss the care and second chance they deserve."
