Expanding Access to Future-Ready STEM Education in South Carolina

Columbia, SC - 01/16/2026 - The STEM Lab, a leading provider of hands-on STEM education for children and teens, is proud to announce the grand opening of its new Innovation Hub location, marking an exciting new chapter in the organization's continued growth and community impact.

The new Innovation Hub, located at 120 Sparkleberry Crossing Rd., Suite 1B, Columbia, SC 29229, will officially open to the public on Saturday, January 31, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The event will feature an open house, program showcases, and opportunities for families to learn more about The STEM Lab's innovative offerings.

Founded with a mission to prepare students for the future workforce, The STEM Lab delivers project-based learning experiences in engineering, robotics, coding, artificial intelligence, game design, and applied sciences. Programs include afterschool clubs, evening enrichment classes, homeschool programs, seasonal camps, weekend workshops, competitions, and STEM-themed birthday parties.
