From Sheerness, Kent—a care design studio reshaping how we connect in late-stage dementia.
SITTINGBOURNE, U.K. - AstroBug -- Timeless Presents, a UK-based care design studio, has launched a new Advent Activity designed specifically for people living with late-stage dementia. Rooted in lived experience and shaped by emotionally intelligent design, the activity offers an invitation to gentle engagement, sensory comfort, and moments of connection throughout the holiday season. With several familiar features embodied in the design, carers can choose to follow wherever their person's interest is captured.
Inspired by The 12 Days of Christmas, this is believed to be the first Advent Activity created specifically for late-stage dementia, offering the user a dignified experience. The activity is designed to support mutual engagement and emotional safety, and each comes with guidance for use, so any carer can make use of it in a meaningful way.

Timeless Presents products are stocked by The Alzheimer's Society online shop—including their Timeless Curiosity Box and a dementia-inclusive colouring book—and have quietly gained traction among carers and care institutions, including several NHS hospitals.
Founder Sharon Daltrey, who cared for her own family member through late-stage dementia, created Timeless with her husband Chris to offer tools that honour presence, dignity, and meaningful connection. "We design to engage, not distract," she says. "Our Advent Activity is a deeply human way to invite them back into the Christmas experience."
The Advent Activity is available for preorder now, with orders shipping by the end of October. Individual carers and families can explore the full range at www.timelesspresents.com.
Alternatively, support can be pledged via their Kickstarter campaign at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/timelesspresents/advent-activity-connect-and-engage-in-late-stage-dementia, where stretch goals will unlock donations of products to care homes in time for Christmas.
