Site Design Squad's new accessibility audits check websites by hand against WCAG 2.2 AA. The Snapshot costs £280.
BURNHAM-ON-SEA, U.K. - AstroBug -- New service tests websites against WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines by hand. Prices start at £280 for a quick Accessibility Snapshot.
Somerset, UK, 04/10/2026. Web design agency Site Design Squad has launched a new accessibility audit service. It helps small businesses, charities and organisations make their websites easier for disabled people to use.
A real person carries out every audit. They test the site using a keyboard and a screen reader, just like real visitors do. Full audits also include testing by disabled people who use assistive technology every day. All testing measures the site against WCAG 2.2 AA, which is the most common standard for web accessibility.
Roughly one in four people in the UK are disabled. That is about 16.8 million people, according to government figures. Many of them rely on keyboards, screen readers or other tools to browse, book and buy things online.
"A website that works for disabled people works better for everyone," says Alison, director of Site Design Squad. "We want to give small businesses a clear starting point. Customers get a report in plain English. It shows what is getting in people's way, which issues matter most, and what to do next."

The agency offers three levels of service:
Accessibility Snapshot, £280. A check of up to six pages chosen by the customer. It comes with a short list of the biggest barriers in order of importance. People can book and pay for it online in under a minute.
Full Audit, from £1,200. A full manual review of agreed pages and features against WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines, complete with a written report.
Audit, Fix and Retest, quoted individually. A full audit, followed by agreed fixes and a final test to make sure those fixes worked.
Site Design Squad can fix most websites, even if they are not built on WordPress. They also offer accessibility statements, retests and guides for your team.
"An audit helps you work towards WCAG 2.2 AA, and we are completely open about what that means," Alison adds. "We are accessibility specialists. We tell you what we found, what we can fix and where the limits are. Then you can decide what to do next with clear facts in front of you."
The service is open to businesses, charities and organisations in the UK and overseas.
